The Treat Jar of All Treat Jars

Well, if you want to make a statement (or have a lot of dogs who need cookies), this is the treat jar to have. It's gorgeous, if i do say so myself. This jar can be used for dog cookies, or kibble, or even people treats. It is quite large at 11.25 inches to the top rim (exclusive of handle which is about 6 inches more). The width at the widest part is about 9 inches.
This jar is highly decorated. Something you will not find in a lifetime of searching unless you are right here, right now... I have even made the top functional by designing a bowl as the lid. This little bowl, which is flat on the bottom so you can set it down on the counter when you open the jar will hold the treats for the day, or anything that you might need to be reminded of, such as meds for your dog. I love the cane handle which adds such a decorative flair.
Again, this is a very large jar.. The last photo, pictured with my sweet Darcy, perhaps will give you an idea of it's scale.. The colors of the jar are black and the natural clay for the relief, and the top, bottom and inside are on the teal side of blue. It is stunningly beautiful in my eyes.

This piece is part of my "Heirloom Collection". This is simply a name for pieces that I feel are quite special as they include reliefs that are exclusive of my work. Each piece is produced one at a time, with hours and hours of hand work. Depending on the size and amount of detail, the hand work I do on each piece runs up to about 10 hours. That is aside from the making of the piece including throwing, cleaning, firing, glazing, etc. That can be another many hours of work.
For the lifetime dog lover, I think these pieces should represent the love of your dog and nature and I hope that you will enjoy them forever.

Each Heirloom piece will be shipped separately from any other purchase.
