Spaniel Water in Rutile with Indigo
I've used my brown speckled stoneware to form this footed bowl. Glazes include a rutile with a band of indigo around the middle. I've underglazed the exterior of this bowl in white, followed by a light turquoise glaze to give the carving extra depth.
One of the nice things about a footed water bowl is that there is generally no need for a mat. Condensation does not occur as the bottom of the bowl does not come in direct contact with the floor.
Volume: 3 cups
Color: As shown
The photographs of this bowl/or set was taken in Natural light (no flash) on a neutral grey background. Though I believe this to be a true color, monitors do varry. If there is a lot of natural light flooding your room, the bowls will appear lighter in color. If your area is dark, bowls will look darker in color. Consider these things when choosing your bowls. Enjoy!
