If you feed wet food, or give chewy bones, consider investing in a snood as well.  There is nothing that will prove their value more than an hour or two trying to comb icky stuff out of your dogs ears.  My snoods are the best.  I have no modesty here.  I have spent nearly 20 years perfecting design and fit.
